Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Singapore.

In this key role, you will contribute to the design, documentation, and delivery of automation and control systems for complex maritime applications. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant technical deliverables including drawings, documentation, and HMI design.

Your work will play an essential role in ensuring that NACOS Marine systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability across global marine and naval projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and high-quality project documentation, drawings, and HMI designs for OT systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement technical solutions aligned with project objectives.
  • Evaluate and advise on design modifications and assess potential technical or cost implications.
  • Contribute to project planning and ensure timely completion of design-related deliverables.
  • Participate in internal project meetings, design reviews, and milestone discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and customer-specific quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Support colleagues with technical input and resolve design-related challenges promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all project-related matters, particularly in Naval contracts.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for design coordination, testing, or customer engagements.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience in EPLAN and SolidWorks for design and documentation.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
