Job Summary
Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) for Good Class Bungalows
Responsibilities
- Perform civil and structural engineering design for Good Class Bungalows to ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements
- Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and ensure safety
- Apply BS/EU codes of practice to develop compliant structural designs tailored to bungalow projects
- Design structural concepts efficiently and economically to optimize resource use and enhance project feasibility
- Communicate project progress and technical findings clearly to the Project Director and management to support informed decision-making
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent, recognized by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore
- Demonstrate at least 3 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering design
- Apply local design standards and codes effectively to ensure compliance in project execution
- Utilize engineering design software including Tekla Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, Midas, AutoCAD, and GStarCAD to perform structural analysis and drafting

- Work independently with a self-motivated and proactive approach to resolving design challenges
- Drive innovative design and creation within civil and structural engineering projects
