Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits, assess feasibility, and propose suitable solar solutions.
- Design Rooftop & Ground Mounted PV systems, including layouts, SLDs, schematics, and BOQ preparation.
- Perform system sizing calculations and use PV simulation software (e.g., PVsyst) for performance analysis.
- Prepare and submit design documents for approvals while ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to align designs with project requirements.
- Oversee scheduling, factory inspections, and project execution, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Review and update design files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with installation, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide service support as needed.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the reporting officer.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 years of relevant working experiences or 1-year Solar PV experience (Fresh graduate for Junior position is welcome to apply)
- Has knowledge in electrical design concepts
- Ability to quickly read and understand construction plans and schematics diagrams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autocad and construction software.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment, communicate concisely to all levels of the organization, and maintain effectiveness while working autonomously or collaboratively.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
