The VP/DVP, Strategic Communications, leads communication strategies that protect and strengthen Income Insurance's reputation and stakeholder trust, support its business objectives, and bring the organisation's brand, purpose, and sustainability commitments to life.
Responsibilities
- Drive integrated corporate, sustainability and brand communications to strengthen reputation and support business growth.
- Shape the company's narrative through strategic storytelling, thought leadership and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Lead media relations, stakeholder engagement, PR activities and industry commentaries.
- Monitor and manage brand reputation through proactive and reactive communication strategies.
- Support crisis and issues communications, including readiness planning and response.
- Partner with leaders, HR and sustainability teams to deliver impactful internal communications that build an engaged, purposedriven workforce.
- Oversee corporate content creation (press releases, speeches, digital content, videos) and amplify visibility across digital and multimedia platforms.
- Track engagement metrics and refine communication strategies for greater impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Public Affairs, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
- 10+ years in corporate communications, public relations, corporate affairs, media relations, brand management or marketing, preferably within financial services, insurance or a regulated industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. of leadership experience
- Must be conversant in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Proven track record in press relations, reputation management, stakeholder communications, crisis communication and management.
- Deep understanding of the insurance industry landscape, products and regulatory environment.
