Job Description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team as Deputy Vice President, Procurement. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in procurement operational oversight and execution, transforming procurement into a strategic, value-driven function, emphasizing digitalization and agile governance.

  • Ensure all sourcing, contracting, and vendor management activities are executed efficiently with zero disruption to the supply chain.
  • Alignment of procurement goals with the broader organizational strategy. Develop multi-year transformation roadmap (typically 1–3 years) with clear milestones for technology and process changes.
  • Drive the adoption of emerging tech like AI-driven analytics, robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Drive implementation of end-to-end digital platforms to automate manual tasks like PO approvals and invoice matching.
  • Redesign internal control policies and guidelines to balance compliance with speed to market.
  • Leverage spend data to generate regular insights for senior management and identify opportunities for One procurement approach.
  • Identify opportunities for competency and capability development of the procurement team.
  • Act as a change agent to implement new procurement approaches, policies and processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 12 years of related experience with at least 3 years in supervisory roles.
  • Experience in procurement / contracts in any of the fields in technology, consultancies, marketing & events, construction or precinct operations, facilities management, cleaning, landscaping, etc will be an added advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of procurement software.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
