Procurement Director F&B

Overall Purpose

Drive cost savings, improve supplier quality, support new product development, and lead supply chain process improvements in line with company strategy and regulations.

Sourcing

• Build a sourcing strategy (local & international) to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and inventory.

• Manage risks related to raw materials, suppliers, global regions, and economic changes.

• Create sourcing plans to ensure consistent supply at the best price and quality.

• Track price trends, new products, and processes.

• Find new suppliers and streamlined methods to lower costs, improve service, or boost quality.

• Set procurement methods, quality standards, and supplier qualification criteria.

• Perform cost analysis and set benchmarks.

• Work with project teams on procurement for new product development.

Procurement

Oversee the full Procure-to-Pay process.

Monitor market trends and product availability.

Develop strategies for buying, storing, distributing goods, and managing stock levels.

Ensure suppliers follow regulatory and company rules.

Use the ERP system to place orders for materials/components with competitive pricing and lead times.

Evaluate freight and logistics to build a strategy for reducing inbound freight costs.

Continuously improve cost management and close operational gaps.

Enhance procurement processes to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration

Proven experience as a Head of Procurement

Strong leadership capabilities

Skilled in sourcing, procurement techniques, and understanding market trends

Strong negotiation and networking abilities

Good at decision-making and working with numbers

Experienced in collecting and analyzing data

Familiar with supplier/vendor management software
