Deputy Project Manager

[A] Job Description:
1. To oversee the construction activities of the projects, to meet contractual requirements, company's QEHS requirements and within budget.
2. To prepare and update the project budget and project master programme.
3. To deal with all industrial relations arising from the project.
4. To liaise with the authorities and agencies and comply with all statutory requirements.
5. To select and recommend subcontractors for management's consideration.
6. To finalise the contract and handing over to the customer's requirements.
7. To deal with all technical, safety, environmental, operational and quality problem.
8. To verify the progress payments to subcontractors and to make progress claims from customer.
9. To prepare the project quality plan in conjunction with the QHSE team.
10. Any other duty and responsibility as assigned by management

[B] Job Requirement:
1. Minimum a technical diploma in Mechanical or Construction discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years in the construction sector.
3. Manage WSH in Construction Sites (CSCPM)
4. Those will experience in industrial piping installations will have an added advantage.
5. Solid grasp of construction methods, building compliance and safety regulations.
6. Leadership skills, including task delegation and staff management.
7. Decision-making, analytical and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to work well under pressure.
9. Strong conflict resolution skills.
