Job Description
- Support the CEO to perform the following duties:
1) Set vision and strategic direction to ensure alignment to the vision and strategic direction
2) Define, shape and lead corporate culture
3) Plan, organize and control operation duties to achieve the company's operational and financial goals
4) Drive Profit growth and customer growth
5) Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders
6) Motivate and implement initiatives to enhance collaboration across business unit to maximize opportunities
7) Promote dialogues and interactions among all Departments within the Company.
- Analyze problematic situations and provide solutions to ensure company growth
- Evaluate business proposals to be introduced by business units
- Identify and allocate resource requirements including people development requirements
- Oversee middle and back functions (e.g. Wholesale Compliance, Private Wealth Compliance, Corporate Planning, HR, Accounting, Information Technology, Operations)
- Act as a liaison with HQ for inquires and referrals (Japanese language)
- Member - Annual General Meeting
- Member - Board of Directors Committee, New Product Committee, Private Wealth Senior Management Committee, Outsourcing Management Committee, ESG Committee
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 15 years of experience in financial industry with corporate management as senior management
- 15 years of experience in middle size entity with supervision of multiple units/functions
- Business level proficiency in written and spoken English and Japanese for corresponding, coordinating with Tokyo Office and translation work from English to Japanese or vice versa
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and a team player
