Job Title: Deputy Manager Transport Management

Description
To lead the Transport Executive and external vendors in delivering efficient and safe transport services for students and staff across GIIS and OWIS campuses, while ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.
Responsibilities
Functional:
- Develop and administer transport programs to support daily operations and student excursions.
- Review and modify transport routes for safety and efficiency.
- Manage transportation costs to meet budget targets.
- Evaluate and recommend transport vendors and service partners.
- Coordinate flexible deployment of transport services with vendors.
- Prepare and manage the annual transport budget.
- Ensure drivers are properly trained and licensed, and that records are regularly updated.
People Interaction:
- Lead the transport team to achieve KPAs and productivity benchmarks.
- Handle parent concerns related to transport and ensure service satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the management team to monitor and improve operational performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and conduct regular service evaluations.
Child Protection:
- Reporting: Adhere to mandatory reporting laws regarding student safety concerns.
- Training: Stay updated on child protection protocols and best practices.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive student information with utmost confidentiality, disclosing only when required for the child's safety or by law.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree holder.
- Prior experience in managing transportation services within an educational institution is preferred.
