Your new role
This role supports the implementation and continuous improvement of the organization's Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework and Crisis Management Plan. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the incumbent identifies and assesses business continuity scenarios aligned with strategic objectives, reviews resiliency strategies through scenario planning and exercises, and strengthens recovery readiness across departments.
The position leads the review of business impact analyses, recovery strategies, and procedures, develops enhanced continuity measures, and improves the practical execution of response plans. The role also prepares senior management presentations, stays abreast of industry best practices and emerging risks, and provides advisory support on BCM-related matters.
Additionally, the incumbent coordinates and facilitates crisis simulations, tabletop exercises, awareness programs, and policy reviews, and serves as a Crisis Coordinator during incidents to support stakeholder communication and effective crisis response.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates should possess a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Engineering or a related discipline, with relevant training or certification in Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301 / SS 540 preferred). Professional BCM certifications such as CBCP, MBCI or ABCP will be an added advantage. The role requires 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Business Continuity Management related experience.
