Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the M&E design team to deliver high-quality and coordinated building services designs
Plan, monitor, and oversee M&E design activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements
Review and approve M&E design drawings, calculations, material submission, technical specifications, and engineering proposals
Coordinate M&E design with architects, structural engineers, landscape consultants, and specialist consultants to ensure seamless integration
Manage BIM coordination activities, including clash detection, model reviews, and design integration using Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, Singapore Standards, and authority regulations, including BCA, SCDF, PUB, LTA, NEA, and SP Group
Review and evaluate value engineering proposals, design optimisation initiatives, and variation orders while maintaining design integrity and project objectives
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives and maintain strong working relationships
Monitor project progress, design deliverables, and key milestones, proactively identifying and mitigating technical and programme risks
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design management, BIM implementation, engineering standards, and project delivery processes
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support overall project execution and team objectives
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in M&E design
Proven experience in managing M&E design for residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, or integrated development projects
Strong technical knowledge of ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection, ELV, and related building services systems
Thorough understanding of Singapore building regulations, codes, and statutory approval processes
Strong leadership, project management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and lead multidisciplinary team
