As part of its ongoing growth, CROWNLINE is seeking an experienced and strategic Deputy General Manager to play a key leadership role in overseeing company operations, supporting strategic direction, and driving organizational growth. Working closely with the General Manager and department heads, the Deputy General Manager will ensure that business objectives are achieved through effective management, process enhancement, and people development. This position is ideal for a proactive leader with strong business acumen and a passion for operational excellence.

Oversee and coordinate daily operational activities across key departments such as logistics, customer support, and sales, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration, resource optimization, and consistent delivery of business objectives and service standards.
Supervise and coach a multicultural team of over 5 members to maintain service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance standards, while fostering teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the General Manager in developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve sustainable profitability across all departments.
Develop and implement strategies to expand market share, strengthen the company's competitive position, and improve profitability through effective market analysis, resource optimization, and customer retention initiatives.
Develop and improve internal systems and workflows to increase productivity, cost-effectiveness, and compliance, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence across all functions.
Lead or participate in business development initiatives and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and group companies across 13 countries to drive growth and service excellence. Oversee proposal and quotation processes for both existing and new clients, ensuring that all submissions are commercially sound, competitive, and aligned with company objectives.
As Deputy General Manager, lead and guide the management team in achieving business targets and maintaining service excellence by setting clear priorities, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Monitor company performance, analyze key operational and financial results, and prepare regular management reports with strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors to support data-driven decisions and sustainable business growth.
(Job Requirements)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, or experience in international business management, will be an added advantage.
At least 10 years of experience in the cross-border logistics, international relocation or service industry, including a minimum of 3 years as a manager and above overseeing multi-departmental operations.
Proven track record in strategic planning, business operations management, and team leadership, with achievements such as improving operational efficiency by over 15%, reducing costs by 10%, and driving annual business growth of 5-8% through effective execution of strategic initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams of 5 members as a manager and above, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within a performance-driven environment.
Strong understanding of international business practices, including both B2B and B2C client management, vendor coordination, and cross-border operations across more than 13 countries.
Solid experience in business development, including a minimum of 8 years in new B2B and B2C client acquisition as well as existing B2B and B2C client retention and account growth, with strong capabilities in proposal management, quotation review, and client negotiations to ensure commercial competitiveness and business sustainability.
High proficiency in both verbal and written English and Japanese (JLPT N1 level) is essential for managing communications and relationships with Japanese clients in managerial or account lead roles.
Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders.
