Collaborate with Fleet Engineering Managers and team leaders to plan and implement maintenance, repair, and overhaul programmes, analyse breakdown trends, and recommend intervention measures
Work with Fleet Engineering Managers, Fleet Operations Managers, and stakeholders on vessel newbuild programmes, including supervision, commissioning, and sea trials
Parter with Fleet Engineering Managers and Fleet Safety Managers to design and implement workplace safety and health programmes and campaigns to raise awareness and drive safe practices
Coordinate with Fleet Engineering and Procurement teams to plan, optimise, and implement term contracts for parts and aftersales support, while driving process redesign and innovation initiatives
Support Fleet Sustainability Manager and stakeholders in planning, developing, and implementing sustainability practices, partnerships, and maritime decarbonisation initiatives enabled by data and technology
Partner with Business Development teams to provide operational support for overseas business units and projects, including readiness audits, tender evaluations/proposals, asset mobilisation and demobilisation, vessel registration, re-flagging, and turnkey solutions
Work with Fleet leaders, HR team and key stakeholders, including Union leaders, to lead workforce engagement, change management, community relations, and productivity programmes across local and overseas business units and
Undertake stretch assignments and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
Have at least 6 years of experience in managing a fleet of tugs and harbour crafts
Possess at least 6 years of experience working in or with shipyards/ship repair facilities
Be willing to undertake short overseas assignments of two to three weeks and
Demonstrate strong multi-disciplinary and cross-functional exposure.
