Job Responsibilities
1. Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Support the Group Financial Controller in monthly group consolidation across all entities (Singapore & overseas)
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to HQ and management
- Review P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow with variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / SFRS standards
2. Financial Control & Governance
- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and audit readiness
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with IRAS, GST, and statutory requirements
- Monitor financial risks and exposure across entities
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Tracking
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Track and analyze financial performance against budget
- Support C-Suite with financial insights and decision-making
- Develop KPIs and dashboards for performance tracking
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Support group cash flow planning and liquidity management
- Monitor banking facilities, financing, and fund movements
- Ensure effective working capital management
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Guide and support finance teams across entities
- Review work of Finance Managers and Executives
- Train team on reporting standards, systems, and controls
- Support finance transformation and CCP upskilling initiatives
6. Business Partnering & Strategic Support
- Partner with senior management and business units
- Support new investments, M&A, and due diligence
- Evaluate cost efficiency, margins, and profitability
- Provide financial input for new business models
7. Ad-hoc & Special Projects
- Lead group-level finance projects and initiatives
- Handle cross-entity finance issues and escalations
