Deputy Engineering Manager (Control / Project Controls)

Job Description

We are seeking a Deputy Engineering Manager (Project Controls) to support the Engineering Manager in planning, monitoring, and controlling engineering activities for oil & gas EPC projects. The role focuses on engineering schedule control, progress monitoring, and interface with project management to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineering planning, scheduling, and progress tracking activities.

• Monitor engineering deliverables, milestones, and resource loading in line with project schedules.

• Coordinate with Project Management and Planning teams on engineering progress, changes, and recovery plans.

• Support preparation of engineering progress reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation measures.

• Ensure alignment between engineering deliverables and overall project controls requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in oil & gas or EPC projects, with exposure to engineering project controls.

• Strong understanding of EPC engineering workflows and planning principles.

• Good coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
