Job Description
As Deputy Director, Planning, Strategy & Insights, you will lead e2i's strategy formulation, corporate planning, organisational performance, research and insights functions. You will drive the development and execution of organisation-wide strategies, oversee strategic planning and performance frameworks, and translate organisational priorities andevidence-based insights into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Working closely with senior management, government agencies and key stakeholders, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, provide strategic counsel on complex and emerging issues, and guide teams in advancing e2i's employment and employability.
Job Responsibilities
. Lead and develop the Planning, Strategy & Insights function, providing strategic direction and strengthening organisational capabilities in corporate planning, performance management, research and analytics.
. Driveorganisation-wide strategy formulation and corporate planning, ensuring alignment of organisational priorities, resources and performance outcomes across e2i.
. Lead strategic foresight, research and organisational insights on employment, employability, workforce trends, labour market developments and emerging issues to inform strategic and policy decisions.
. Partner with senior management, the e2i Board and NTUC leadership to provide strategic advice, governance support and decision-making recommendations on organisational priorities, risks and complex issues.
. Drive enterprise performance management, overseeing corporate KPIs, strategic reporting and performance monitoring to strengthen organisational effectiveness, accountability and continuous improvement.
. Build and manage strategic partnerships with government agencies and key stakeholders to advance organisational objectives, influence strategic outcomes and strengthen collaborative efforts.
. Oversee the development of organisational insights and analytics, leveraging data to support strategic decision-making, performance improvement and Board-leveldiscussions.
. Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior management, leading reviews of complex, cross-functional and emerging issues, and developing recommendations to support organisational priorities and long-term outcomes.
Job Requirements
. At least 13 years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate planning, policy development, management consulting, organisational performance management, research and/or analytics.
. Proven track record in driving organisational strategy, corporate planning andenterprise-wide initiatives in a complex and dynamic environment.
. Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and build consensus among senior leaders, government agencies and external stakeholders.
. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable recommendations and management insights.
. Strong leadership capabilities, with experience leading, developing and coachinghigh-performing teams.
. Ability to manage multiple strategic priorities, navigate ambiguity and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
