Manage a team of Manufacturing Managers and Engineers to fulfill or exceed BU's shipment target with optimal productivity but minimal cost.
Establish plans and strategies to meet and surpass manufacturing performance indices cycle time.
Set goals, track & drive performance indicators for the Fab and at the same time, ensure good communication/passdown of Company and Fab direction to the ground level.me/OTD/cost/quality/people development.
Spearhead and facilitate continuous improvement to provide lean & robust manufacturing processes for zero defects.
Conduct regular feedback and communication sessions with staff for work improvement and maintain morale.
Mentor managers and engineers in both technical and managerial areas.
Establish plans and strategies to maximize manufacturing efficiency of fab bottlenecks.
Drive towards reducing manufacturing cost.
Plan & forecast annual capital & expense budgeting of the Fab to align with Company direction. At the same time, ensure that individual department Profit and Loss stays within budget.
Standardise WIP management fundamentals for implementation and practice across fabs.
Provide training and guidance to Engineers / Associate Engineers and Waferfab Operators / Technician to achieve the desired effectiveness
Oversee all operators productivity, hiring, training and certification activities.
Establish 6S protocol and practices in cleanroom.
Requirement
Degree in Microelectronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of Semiconductor Manufacturing operations experience, with minimum 5 years of management experience
Possess technical knowledge and competent in Manufacturing Process
Proven strategic leadership capability in the semiconductor industry.
Dynamic and resourceful person with good analytical and organization skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills
Prepared to take on challenges, calculated risk and manage changes at all times
Excellent knowledge with MS Office including Word, Excel , and PowerPoint
