Duties & Responsibilities:
. Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
. Coordinate activities with subcontractors in accordance with project schedules and contract terms.
. Manage the project budget and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
. Manage and allocate all on-site resources effectively.
. Oversee workplace safety to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
. Monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
. Monitor construction progress against the project timeline and implement corrective actions as needed.
. Negotiate with relevant parties (e.g., clients, subcontractors, suppliers) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
. Develop and manage work schedules to ensure project plans are executed effectively.
. Prepare regular reports to track project progress, costs, and key metrics.
. Prepare tenders and contract bids.
. Supervise the on-site labour force to ensure all operations comply with established standards and regulations.

Requirements:
. 8 Years experience as Deputy Construction Manager OR at least 8 years or More as civil engineer.
. Able to Issue and Approve PTW
. Degree in Civil Engineering (Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the BCA
. This requires a practical understanding of Singapore's key construction regulations, including the Building Control Act for structural integrity, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act for on-site safety, and quality benchmarks like BCA CONQUAS. It ensures all work is legally compliant, safe, and meets industry standards.
. Must be a team player with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of management.
. May be require to work long hours during peak period
