DEPUTY CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

• Report to Construction Manager and lead the team/site works during their absence
• Prepare & review detailed schedule for the site team to follow accordingly and for on-time completion
• Prepare & review detailed method statements and work instructions
• Coordinate all related construction matters with subcontractor/consultant/client
• Prepare & review company reports and documents
• Responsible & resolve technical and claim issues
• Assess subcontractors work activities against performance expectation
• Ensure compliance with quality, environment, health & safety requirements

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, inclusive of at least 3 years as Deputy
• Construction manager level, managing construction teams for complex vehicular
• structures and road projects of similar scale and complexity
• Candidate with LTA viaduct experience is preferred
• Well experienced in RCBC construction, drainage construction, retaining walls, etc.
• Knowledgeable with various Utilities M&E works
• Self-motivated, independent individual and possesses great initiatives
• A team leader
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and knowledge on AutoCAD is at an advantage
• Attained CSCPM/BCSS/Confined space/Work At Height
