Dental Surgery Assistant

Job Description & Requirements

Dental Surgery Assistant is a clinical support officer on the dental team.

As a Dental Surgery Assistant, you'll greet patients and ensure their comfort during and after their appointments.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a senior dental surgery assistant, assisting the dentist when treating patients.

This provides a unique chance for you to learn and grow in your career in the dental field.

This will include the responsibilities as follows:

• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments.
• Setting up instrument trays.
• Preparing materials and instruments.
• Assisting Dentists with dental procedures.
• Assist in performing dental radiography.
• Assist in ordering dental supplies when supplies are low in stock.
• Educate patients on dental and post-operative care.
• Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and inquiries.
• Perform general administrative duties.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least GCE N Level or equivalent.
• Teamwork.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• Willing to work on a 5.5-day work week basis.
• Able to work rotating shift duties (including nights, and weekends)
