Dental Surgery Assistant Cum Receptionist

Job Summary

You will support dental procedures by assisting dental professionals, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment, and communicating effectively with patients and team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental professionals during procedures to ensure efficient and safe patient care
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain hygiene standards
• Manage patient appointments and records accurately to support clinic workflow
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the clinic to comply with health regulations
• Adapt to occasional overtime work when clinic operations extend beyond scheduled hours

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in dental assisting or related support roles
• Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not essential
• Proficient in English communication ability to speak Chinese is preferred due to operational needs

Other Information

Benefits:

• Medical benefit of $250 per year with 25% outpatient co-share after confirmation
• Dental treatment benefits available after confirmation depending on procedures

Work Days and Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Total 5.5 days, 44 hours per week
• Occasional overtime if clinic overruns

Salary:

• From $2,500.00 depending on work experience
