Dental Assistant / Dental Surgery Assistant

Job Responsibilities

Assist dentists and dental professionals during dental procedures and treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment and dental materials.
Perform cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of instruments in accordance with infection control standards.
Prepare and support patients before, during and after treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation.
Monitor and replenish dental supplies and consumables.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the clinical environment.
Work closely with dentists and the healthcare team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or relevant qualification in Dental Nursing, Dental Assisting, Healthcare or a related field.
Relevant dental or healthcare experience will be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Caring, responsible and patient-focused.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Good understanding of infection control and workplace safety practices.
