DENTAL ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST
Pay scale will be dependent on experience level however we accept no experience as well. On the job training will be provided.

- Working Hours:
- Includes 1 weekend day, with 1 weekend day off per week
- 5.5 Days
- OT Pay will be included if addional time is requested
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Assistance:
- Assist the dentist in chairside procedures and dental treatments
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment
- Assist with sterilisation and infection control according to MOH and clinic protocols
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort during procedures
- Mix and prepare dental materials
- Assist in taking dental radiographs
Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients and ensure smooth check-in/check-out process
- Educate and advise patients on oral hygiene, post-op instructions, and clinic services
- Handle treatment discussions and basic explanation of costs and procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and service standards
Reception & Communication:
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and reply to WhatsApp/online enquiries
- Manage daily scheduling and appointment reminders
- Coordinate with patients for follow-ups and recalls
Administrative & Inventory:
- Maintain clinic inventory, stock checks, and order supplies when needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist in data entry
- Comply with regulatory and MOH guidelines for clinical documentation
- Assist in billing and payment collection, issue receipts and invoices
General Housekeeping & Compliance:
- Maintain cleanliness of clinical and reception areas
- Adhere to clinic SOPs and infection control protocols
- Assist in daily opening and closing routines
Additional Duties:
Support marketing or community outreach events (e.g., flyers, dental talks)
Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews
Any other duties assigned by the clinic manager or dentist
Overtime (OT) pay will be provided when applicablest
