Job Summary
Support dental procedures by preparing patients and instruments, assisting dentists during treatments, managing clinical records, and maintaining dental equipment and supplies to ensure smooth and effective dental care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures to ensure readiness and comfort
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and set up instrument trays to maintain infection control
- Assist dentists during clinical treatments to facilitate efficient patient care
- Record detailed treatment information accurately in patient records for documentation
- Expose dental x-rays and maintain dental x-ray equipment to support diagnostics
- Provide postoperative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist to aid recovery
- Maintain and care for dental equipment to ensure functionality and safety
- Form preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations to assist in treatment planning
- Order dental supplies and manage dental equipment inventory to ensure availability
- Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions for patient care
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support dental clinic operations

- Experience using computers for various tasks to support clinic operations
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Maintain a consistently professional appearance and attitude to uphold clinic standards
- Ability to provide excellent patient care to enhance patient experience

- Open to both experienced and non-experienced candidates on-the-job training provided
