Responsibilities:
- Prepare dental chairs, instruments, equipment, and computer systems for dental charting
- Provide chair‑side assistance to dentists during dental procedures
- Support and reassure patients before, during, and after treatment
- Clean and disinfect dental chairs, instruments, and work areas in accordance with infection control protocols
- Arrange dental instruments for return, washing, and sterilisation
- Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and patient appointment confirmations
- Adhere to hospital infection control practices and workplace safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping of assigned dental operatories
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC or equivalent qualification
- Service‑oriented mindset with focus on patient care and support
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a clinical team environment
