We are looking for a committed and hardworking Demi Chef to support our kitchen operations and assist the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in daily food preparation and service. The ideal candidate should have basic culinary skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating according to restaurant standards
Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations
Ensure proper food handling and storage
Support senior chefs during service hours
Assist with stock rotation and basic inventory checks
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience
Knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques
Ability to work split shifts, including CNY, weekends and public holidays
Team player with good attitude and willingness to learn
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
Food Hygiene Certificate preferred (or willing to obtain)
