Job Description

The Manager, Brand Demand Planning & IBP will oversee demand planning and integrated business planning for the APAC region. This role is critical in improving forecast accuracy, driving alignment across functions, and supporting business growth through efficient supply chain planning. Acting as a subject matter expert, the position provides guidance on demand planning and IBP processes and systems to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams for the assigned brand cluster.

Forecast Development

  • Build and review affiliate-level demand plans for major categories (e.g., Skincare, Makeup) to identify risks and opportunities, and drive actions to close gaps.
  • Assess demand plans for key launches at affiliate and brand levels to ensure sufficiency and accuracy, implementing corrective measures where needed.
  • Validate demand trends and key assumptions maintain accurate inputs in forecasting systems.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and adjust plans based on market changes and product launches.
  • Optimize demand plans using statistical models and relevant sales drivers.

Forecast Alignment

  • Maintain a consolidated view of demand across base and new SKUs.
  • Lead Brand Consensus and selected Affiliate IBP meetings manage gaps between demand, supply, and Latest Estimates (LE).
  • Standardize sales-driver reviews and collaborate with Brand GMs to resolve imbalances and shape demand under constraints.
  • Prepare reports and escalate key exceptions for timely decision-making.

KPI & Process Improvement

  • Act as systems and process expert lead training and improvement initiatives within the brand cluster.
  • Monitor key metrics (WFA, Bias, Attainment, FVA) and drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis.
  • Enhance forecasting processes, tools, and reports to improve accuracy and collaboration.

A successful Brand Demand Planning and IBP Manager should have:

  • At least 8 years of experience in demand planning and integrated business planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Experience working in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management/demand planning tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to liaise with key stakeholders and cross-cultural teams.
