DESCRIPTION:
As a Demand Planner II on our Supply Chain team, you'll develop and manage 24-month demand plans for key product portfolios. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and ensure customer satisfaction. Working at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational execution, you'll translate market insights into actionable supply chain plans while leveraging advanced analytics and forecasting tools to support our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
In this role, you'll manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, facilitate demand review meetings, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. You'll analyze market trends, historical data, and business intelligence to create accurate forecasts while maintaining strong partnerships with Product Management, Commercial, Finance, and Manufacturing teams. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing inventory levels, reducing excess and obsolescence risk, and ensuring efficient production planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
. Bachelor's Degree/Diploma plus 2 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
. Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
. APICS certification preferred
. Proficiency in demand planning systems (SAP, Forecast Pro, Kinaxis, or similar platforms)
. Advanced analytical skills with expertise in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
. Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI
. Clear verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership
. Experience in S&OP processes and inventory management
. Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and project management
. Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
. Ability to work in a matrix organization
. Problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making capability
. English proficiency required additional languages a plus
