Demand Planner

The Demand Planner collaborates closely with all markets to deliver accurate demand forecasts, manage a well-balanced risk portfolio, drive sustainable growth, and consistently exceed overall business expectations. This integral role should have the ability to translate analytics into high standard of demand forecasting, optimizing sell through and inventory control through efficient product lifecycle management.

The overarching objectives of this position are to maintain and optimize all forecasting and demand planning activities; deliver clear and concise visibility of KPI and trend performance to relevant stakeholders.

• Developing and maintaining forecast models using statistical methods and software tools.
• Collaborating with sales, merchandising, finance, and operations teams to align forecasts with promotional activities, budgets, and business goals.
• Monitoring inventory levels in all markets to prevent stockouts or overstock situations while minimizing costs.
• Establish and enforce inventory aging control measures.
• Timely identification of slow-movers and at-risk products and propose action plans.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with markets, pivoting and driving efficient product lifecycle management / inventory control to meet strategic business objectives.
• Conducting market analysis to understand demand drivers and assess forecast accuracy.
• Close collaborations with Global Supply Planning team to ensure optimal demand coverage, highlighting any key observations and concerns.
• Proactively seek ways to improve processes and methodologies; relating and measuring the impact of such techniques to elevate the regions respective competence.
• Prepare, analyze, and communicate forecast and demand performance metrics to management, including accuracy, stability, and alignment with targets.
• Delivering on all regional deadlines as set by the global S&OP calendar.
