Demand and Supply Analyst

We are currently seeking a Demand and Supply Analyst to join our HQ APAC office in Singapore.

Role Overview
The main purpose of this position is to optimize inventory levels and align product availability with customer demand through statistical forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Managing the balance between supply chain inputs and sales forecasts to minimize costs and improve service levels. Inventory planning, demand forecasting, supplier collaboration, and identifying supply chain risks

Main duties and responsibilities:

Forecasting and Planning:
Develop unconstrained demand plans and analyze historical sales data to predict future inventory needs.

Inventory Optimization:
Set safety stock levels, manage inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment via purchase orders.

Supply Chain Coordination:
Bridge communication between marketing, sales, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth operations.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.

Risk Mitigation:
Proactively identify and resolve potential supply chain issues, such as stockouts or excess inventory.

Responsibilities vary according to region and are subject to the manager/reporting line

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Analytical skills: Proficiency in analysing large datasets to derive insights and forecast trends.
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
• Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field
• Communication: Ability to collaborate across departments and negotiate with suppliers
• Good understanding of logistics, procurement, forecasting, warehousing, and inventory principles
