Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to guide and facilitate our teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently. As a Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in leading multi-team coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of high-impact digital products across various government services. You will facilitate agile practices, drive collaboration across teams, and manage large-scale, complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Less framework to maximize value delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, be proficient with Jira and Confluence, possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Having sufficient technical acumen to understand Cloud Computing, DevOps and common Software development processes is key to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Arrange and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including overall stand-ups, sprint planning one and two, overall retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure productive and efficient team collaboration.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the Engineering and Product team and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency on project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Progress Tracking: Utilize Jira to track and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and overall project status. Generate insightful reports and dashboards to monitor key metrics.
- Documentation and Collaboration: Leverage Confluence for documenting project requirements, meeting notes, and other relevant information. Ensure that the team and stakeholders are aligned on project goals.
- Sprint Task Scheduling: Work with various stakeholders to ensure that appropriate tasks gets scheduled into each sprint, taking into account of priority, dependency, and urgency, among many other requirements.
- Multi-Team Project Management: Drive cross-team coordination, helping teams identify and resolve dependencies, synchronize delivery schedules, and align around shared goals.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and work with the team and stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
- Technical Comprehension: Be able to facilitate discussions between stakeholders, engineers and product mangers around technical aspects of our product. Ensure that the team is aligned on business and technical goals, and that any risks are addressed with mitigation plans.
- Remove Roadblocks: Identify and remove any impediments or roadblocks that may be hindering the team's progress, ensuring smooth delivery of sprints.
- Backlog Management: Assist Product Managers in maintaining a well-defined product backlog, ensuring that user stories are clear, concise, and prioritized according to business value.

- Agile Coaching: Guide and coach the Scrum team on Agile best practices, principles, and Scrum framework to improve processes and efficiency.
- Process Streamlining: Works with the team to figure out how processes can be improved to enhance productivity across all parties.
Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a continuous improvement culture by gathering feedback from teams, conducting retrospectives, and driving improvements in delivery processes and practices.
- Share insights on optimizing the LeSS frameworks adoption and effectiveness, ensuring teams remain agile and adaptable to changing requirements.
- Lead efforts to streamline team collaboration, product alignment, and scaling best practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 - 7years of experience as a Scrum Master in projects with cloud software development environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficiency with Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting.
- Experience with Confluence for documentation and team collaboration.
- Solid understanding of automation and cloud integration processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with cloud related engineering team
