Plan and schedule daily delivery routes for company drivers, optimizing efficiency while meeting customer and operational requirements.
Ensure all food deliveries adhere to the stipulated time frames and food safety standards set by SFA.
Anticipate and resolve logistical challenges, including traffic conditions, parking restrictions, and access limitations at customer venues (e.g., condominiums, function rooms).
Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to align food preparation times with delivery schedules.
Monitor real-time delivery progress and make adjustments as needed to avoid delays.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance route planning, reduce delays, and improve customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the management team to cultivate a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.
Identify potential team members (e.g., drivers or logistics staff) with strong performance and leadership qualities for further training and grooming.
Provide feedback and suggestions to management on improving team productivity and morale.
Job Requirements:
Possesses a valid class 3 driving licence.
Minimum 5 years experience in logistics scheduling, route planning, or catering/food delivery operations.
Strong knowledge of Singapore road networks, traffic patterns, and parking restrictions.
Familiarity with SFA food safety regulations related to food delivery and consumption timelines.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on the spot when delays or access issues arise.
Effective communicator, able to coordinate with both drivers and internal teams.
Positive mindset with the ability to build rapport and motivate staff.
