Job Summary
Perform accurate and timely deliveries to customers while supporting warehouse operations and maintaining safety and vehicle standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goods accurately and on time to customers according to assigned orders
- Communicate professionally and provide feedback promptly for any delivery issues
- Load goods onto vans or truck for delivery
- Drive company trucks or vans on assigned routes, planning efficient paths to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and reliability
- Keep accurate delivery logs, manage fuel and toll receipts, and collect payments when required
- Follow safety protocols consistently during all delivery and warehouse activities
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed to support team operations. E.g. Unloading goods from containers, picking and packing of stocks
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid class 3 driving license with a good driving record
- Be physically fit to carry and move goods weighing up to 25 kg
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a class 4 driving license (advantageous but not required)
- Demonstrate familiarity with Singapore roads and proficiency in using GPS and route planning tools
- Able to work on Saturdays and Sundays if required
- Exhibit teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Maintain a customer service orientation to support positive client interactions
- Display a cheerful disposition and good time management skills
