Delivery Driver

Reporting To: Logistics Manager

Position Overview

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of chilled food products to supermarkets, foodservice customers, and direct clients across Singapore. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, ensuring cold-chain integrity, and representing the company professionally during customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

• Deliver chilled food products to supermarkets, foodservice outlets, and direct customers according to assigned delivery schedules.

• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently at the production facility and customer locations.

• Ensure delicate food products are handled carefully to prevent damage.

• Maintain strict cold-chain practices to ensure product safety and quality during transport.

Documentation and Administration

• Check invoices, delivery orders, and picking lists before departure to ensure accuracy.

• Obtain customer signatures on delivery notes and ensure all documents are returned to the logistics office promptly.

• Handle product returns according to company procedures.

• Collect payments or cash from customers when required and ensure accurate reconciliation.

Vehicle and Equipment Care

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery vehicle at all times.

• Conduct basic daily vehicle inspections (fuel level, tyre pressure, lights, refrigeration unit if applicable).

• Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately to the Logistics Manager.

Internal Logistics Support

• Assist with basic stock movement between production areas when required.

• Support loading operations during busy dispatch periods.

• Follow warehouse and food safety procedures while operating within the production facility.

Requirements

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or logistics driver preferred.

• Experience delivering food or chilled products is an advantage.

Licenses

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.

Skills and Attributes

• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and delivery routes.

• Physically fit and able to lift and carry goods.

• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

• Basic numeracy and ability to check delivery documentation.

• Good communication skills and customer-friendly attitude.

• Able to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.

• Monday to Saturday (Saturday typically half-day, depending on operational needs).

• Start times may vary depending on delivery schedules.
