Delivery Driver

Job summary

1) Responsible to deliver customers orders promptly as according to their requirement.

2) To be aware of, and follow legislative, safety & company directives.

3) To work as part of a logistics team.

Area of responsibilities

1) Verifying and loading of goods given by Warehouse department.

2) Unloading, delivering and verifying of goods being delivered to customers.

3) Ensure that payments are collected as stated on the invoices and payments collected are returned to the company.

4) Ensure that returned goods by the customers are returned to the Warehouse department.

5) Responsible for the tidiness, cleanliness and ensuring that the vehicle undergo regular preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance are carried out when needed.

6) Adhering to all traffic legislation.

7) Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

Competency requirements

1) Class 3 or Class 3 and Class 4 driving license to drive 14ft box lorry.

2) Physically fit to carry out daily tasks which involves loading of goods to lorry.
