Job Summary
You will safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pickup goods, manage warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and order fulfillment, maintain vehicle and warehouse safety, and handle delivery documentation.
Responsibilities
- Driving :Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers and pick up goods from suppliers
- Loading & unloading :Load and unload cargo with proper handling and organize items efficiently
- Vehicle Maintenance :Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Warehouse Operations :Receive, store, and dispatch goods accurately within warehouse operations
- Order Fulfilment :Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or dispatch to meet customer requirements
- Safety and Housekeeping :Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment following safety procedures
- Documents :Prepare and complete delivery documents and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Ad Hoc Tasks : Assist with other warehouse or delivery tasks as needed to support operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Class 3 and /or Class 4 driver's license
- Demonstrate physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items safely
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in driving and warehouse operations
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics
- Forklift certification may be required
