Delivery Driver (Class 4)

Job Description & Requirements

This position will be part of an employee-oriented and responsible team to ensure the efficient, safe and timely delivery of wholesale orders (B2B). The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations which involves carrying and loading heavy goods (mostly palletised), transporting and unloading at delivery point while ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and attitude.

1. Planning: Work closely with warehouse supervisor and logistics assistants to plan delivery route to ensure most efficient delivery schedule without delays and efficient consumption of fuel.

2. Accuracy and Quality Check: Carry and load heavy goods, ensure accuracy of orders by double-checking during loading and before delivery. Ensure goods are in the original and proper conditions during delivery and loading. Report any product defects or issues to Management.

3. Safe & Timely Delivery: Load and unload products for delivery, ensuring all items are secure for transport and delivered on time. Collection of cash or have client signed on delivery order. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

4. Customer Satisfaction: Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner with positive attitude. Address any customer inquiries or concerns by reporting to Management.

5. Maintenance of Vehicle: Send of vehicle for routine servicing, maintaining it clean and in good serviceable condition, regularly check the condition of the vehicle gas levels and tyre pressure.

6. Adhoc Duties: Assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (preferably Class 4) with a clean driving record. Each delivery driver will be paired with a delivery assistant.
• Knowledge of Singapore route/direction and ability to use GPS navigation apps.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Candidates with Forklift licence has an advantage
• Ability to plan delivery route and maximise space on company vehicle to ensure safety and efficient delivery.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Good time management, communication and responsible work ethic.
• Able to manage challenging situations and delivery timing requirements.
• Previous experience in F&B delivery is a plus but not required.
