The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from the company's warehouse to various customer locations in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.
Job Description:
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, charges are correct, and customers are satisfied.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling complaints from clients.
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules.
- Comply with all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
- Operate equipment and machines, such as trucks and forklifts, etc.
- Carried out hoc duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- A valid driver's license issued by Land Transport Authority of Singapore
- A clean driving record.
- Prior experience driving Lorries or heavy vehicles is often required or preferred.
- Possess forklift licence will be added advantages
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
