DeFi Platform Architect / Lead Engineer

A global, enterprise-scale organization is building a regulated DeFi-enabled platform and is hiring a highly technical Architect to design and lead the core decentralized finance technology stack. This role is hands-on, deeply technical, and focused on production-grade DeFi systems rather than research or experimentation.

Role scope

• Architect and implement DeFi platforms including smart contracts, on-chain/off-chain integrations, and liquidity mechanisms

• Design end-to-end transaction flows across wallets, protocols, bridges, oracles, and settlement layers

• Own smart contract architecture, upgrade patterns, security models, and gas optimization strategies

• Build scalable backend services that interact with blockchains in real time

• Define infrastructure for indexing, event processing, and analytics

• Lead technical standards, reviews, and architectural decisions

Core technical requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Solidity and EVM-based chains

• Deep understanding of DeFi primitives: AMMs, lending protocols, staking, governance, and liquidity pools

• Experience with smart contract security, audits, and common attack vectors

• Strong backend engineering skills in languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or TypeScript

• Experience with blockchain nodes, RPC providers, indexers, and event listeners

• Solid knowledge of cryptography fundamentals and key management

• Production experience with cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD

Nice to have

• Experience with non-EVM chains or Layer-2 solutions

• Knowledge of cross-chain messaging and bridge architectures

• Exposure to regulated DeFi or institutional-grade digital asset platforms
