Brief Description:
(1)Job Role : Post of Dealer - To handle Dealing functions of Treasury Department of the Branch and your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:-
- Proficient in English with good communication skills as the job involves liaisoning with Monetary Authority of Singapore and international bankers / Banks.
- Knowledge of Indian Banking and finance related regulatory requirements and landscape.
- At least 5 years experience in having worked in a similar capacity in a Bank.
- Responsible for the conduct of various treasury operations of Singapore like
o Pricing of Deposits
o Pricing of Advances
o Managing Yield Spread / NIM
o Dealing in Foreign Exchange (FX) , Money Markets (MM), Fixed income, derivatives etc.
- Cover Operations for customer Transactions
- Familiarity with Multi currency Balance sheets
- Funds Management - Assets & Liability Management
- Propriety Trading in Forex Markets and Fixed Income
- Overseeing adherence to statutory reserve parameters set by regulators.
- Liaising with Nostro and other International counterparty Banks in Treasury matters.
- Market Risk Management in respect of liquidity, interest rates and foreign Exchange.
- Knowledge of Basel III requirements
- Fair knowledge of various accounting standards related to FX / MM / Fixed Income / Derivatives.
- Fair Knowledge of Valuations.
- The selected candidate shall pass the Financial Markets Regulatory and Practices (FMRP) Examinations within six months from the date of joining the Branch.
Job Requirements: The minimum requirements for the position is as under:
- Degree from a recognised University/ or Master Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business Administration/ Economics and Specialised qualification/Certification in Treasury Management/Securities Trading from a reputed/recognised institute or university. FMRP qualified or to qualify within 6 months of joining.
- Highly organised and has keen attention to details
- Highly driven, self-motivated and able to work under-pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English both written and verbal as the job involves liaisoning with Regulators and International Bankers/Banks.
- Knowledge of Indian banking and finance regulatory requirements and landscape will be helpful.
Minimum Years of Experience:-
- 3 years and above experience in similar position/relevant experience in the Treasury Department in the Banking and Finance Industry.
