The Company

Our client is a well-established global multinational organisation with a strong presence across Asia Pacific. They are looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to join their Singapore office as the main point of contact for onsite IT support. This is a great opportunity to work in an international environment, collaborating with regional and global IT teams and gaining exposure to enterprise IT standards, processes and technologies.

The Role

You will look after day-to-day IT support and operations for the Singapore office, making sure users, devices and meeting facilities run smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, responds quickly and communicates clearly with users and stakeholders.

. Provide first-level onsite support for hardware, software, network and security issues.

. Support meeting rooms, video conferencing and AV setups.

. Install, configure, image, upgrade and repair laptops, desktops and peripherals.

. Maintain IT asset records and support the hardware lifecycle from deployment to refresh and disposal.

. Set up, maintain and troubleshoot printers and other office devices.

. Support local IT projects such as hardware refreshes and office setups.

. Work with regional IT teams to apply global IT policies, processes and standards.

. Promote good IT and cybersecurity practices and help users get the most out of IT tools.

Your Profile

. Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.

. 3-5 years of experience in desktop support, onsite IT support or service desk.

. Hands-on experience with end-user devices and AV or video conferencing systems.

. Networking knowledge is a plus.

. Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach.

. Good communication skills in English Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with regional stakeholders.

. Proactive, responsive and comfortable working independently.

. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft or ITIL are an advantage.

. Immediate or short notice availability preferred.
