Key Responsibilities
Service & Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end data center facilities operations, including planning, maintenance, and documentation
- Lead on-site operations teams to ensure uptime and operational readiness of mission-critical infrastructure
- Drive adherence to ITIL processes: Change, Incident, Problem, Configuration, Patch & Vulnerability Management
- Monitor and report SLA/KPI performance, system health, and operational risks
- Engage stakeholders (internal teams, clients, vendors) for delivery, maintenance, and escalation handling
- Lead audits, DR/BCP exercises, and continuous improvement initiatives
Configuration & Asset Governance
- Maintain DCIM accuracy for equipment lifecycle and movements
- Ensure compliance across configuration, access, backup, logging, and inventory processes
- Track system obsolescence and provide reporting to stakeholders
Incident & Risk Management
- Lead incident investigations and resolution
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Security & Compliance
- Oversee security systems (e.g. access control, surveillance) and ensure timely patching
- Drive vulnerability management and security reviews
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements
- Support audits, gap remediation, and governance reporting
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in data center or critical infrastructure operations
- Strong technical knowledge of UPS, STS, DRUPS / CRAH/CRAC systems / PDUs, chillers, BMS, fire protection systems
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and service delivery leadership
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in structured, compliance-driven environments
