Database Administrator

Role:

. Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

. Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity.

. Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

. Ensure database security, including user access management and data protection.

. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

. Manage database patches, upgrades, and migrations.

. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.

. Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.

. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams.

. Provide support for maintenance and operational activities.

Requirements:

. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

. Experience in database administration.

. Proficient in SQL and database management tools.

. Knowledge of backup/recovery, performance tuning, and security management.

. Familiarity with Windows / Linux operating systems.

. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

. Good communication and documentation skills.

. This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
