The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cloud-based database systems with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize database architecture, support business growth, and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Continuously optimize database performance and efficiency
- Work closely with business teams to ensure database availability and reliability
- Enhance and evolve database architecture to meet business requirements
- Provide technical support and knowledge sharing to development teams
- Lead the development of database platforms
- Contribute to the creation of database operations tools and components
- Stay updated on emerging database technologies to support innovation and scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science or related fields
- 5+ years of experience with database systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis, Doris), with relevant operational experience
- Proficiency in Linux environments (service deployment, troubleshooting, tuning)
- Skilled in at least one programming language (Shell, Python, Java) for database automation
- Understanding of distributed system concepts (elections, data replication) is a plus
- Experience with open-source middleware in large-scale environments is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work under pressure
