Job Description
Hiring: Database Administrator II (Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL)
Artech Infosystems is hiring an experienced Database Administrator II (Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL) for an exciting opportunity with a leading global client.
Location: Bangalore (Work From Office)
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners to 30 Days Official Notice Period only

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL) databases.
- Perform database maintenance, upgrades, and health monitoring.
- Investigate and resolve production database issues.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
- Ensure high availability and stability of production databases.
- Participate in on-call support for critical database incidents.
- Support database migration and data transformation activities.
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL) administration.
- Strong PostgreSQL database administration experience.
- Database maintenance, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Strong SQL writing and query optimization skills.
- Experience supporting production environments independently.
- Willingness to participate in on-call production support.
Good to Have
- Experience with data migration and transformation.
- Exposure to AWS database services.
- Knowledge of DynamoDB migration projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline.
