Administer, operate, support, and secure the Groups Microsoft-based data infrastructure. Provision and configure Azure Fabric and Data Factory services and resources
Setup and administer Azure Fabric services including domain, tenant, and workspace management. Ensure proper configuration, access control, and integration with other Azure services.
Ensure data infrastructure controls and operations comply with Group and applicable regulatory policies. Respond to audits and due diligence questions. Address findings and implement follow-up actions.
Track and manage Azure Fabric performance, capacity and usage to ensure right sizing and cost control. Monitor and troubleshoot issues and performance
Collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams to ensure available, secure, scalable, and compliant data operations.
Manage data infrastructure security integration with Azure Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and other security technologies.
Develop and implement data governance policies and standards, role-based access controls (RBAC), encryption standards, to meet compliance with data protection regulations.
Assess and close vulnerabilities. Follow-up on security incidents raised by the SOC.
Manage and govern connections and data transfers to and from the data infrastructure at network and application level.
Develop and maintain documentation for data policies, security policies, and operational procedures.
Design, implement, and manage backup, recovery and resiliency strategies for the data infrastructure. Develop and test disaster recovery (DR) plans, ensuring RTO/RPO objectives are met and aligned with business continuity requirements.
Monitor backup jobs, perform regular DR drills, and maintain documentation for audit and compliance.
Requirements
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Azure data technologies administration, system integration or cloud automation development preferably in real estate, fund/asset management, or financial services industries
Proven experience in Fabric, Azure Data Factory, API development, or script-based cloud configuration
Technical proficiency and work experience with the following technologies: Azure Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Dataflows, Fabric Pipelines, Fabric Notebooks, OneLake, Databricks, Power BI, Storage Accounts, SQL, and Function Apps.
Azure Fabric administration including domain, tenant, and workspace management
Azure Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Purview
Backup and recovery tools such as Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Kusto Query Language (KQL)
Experience with system-to-system integrations or managing configuration of cloud-services across multiple tenants is a plus
Familiarity with data protection regulations such as GDPR, PDPA
Relevant Microsoft certifications in Azure administration, Azure Data, Azure Fabric, Power BI
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
