They are currently expanding the tech teams in Singapore and looking for a senior data warehouse engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust data pipelines to support both batch processing and live data streaming needs.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable data warehouse solutions, including advanced data modeling and ETL development.
- Construct and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure using modern industry-standard tools.
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies across data projects and initiatives.
- Build and maintain software frameworks to address complex, large-scale data challenges.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholdersincluding product, engineering, analytics, and data scienceto deliver reliable and scalable data-driven platforms.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, enhancing validation and monitoring processes to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Analyze and implement opportunities to improve data workflows, supporting continual product and service enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing data warehouse systems.
- Proficient with modern data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Flink) and capable of building both batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including advanced query features, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with leading cloud platforms (such as AWS or AliCloud).
- Skilled in advanced SQL, including window and aggregate functions, and creating user-defined functions.
- Demonstrated success in delivering full-cycle data solutions, from ingestion and storage to extraction and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
