Data Specialist

Our client is a leading asset management firm in Singapore, who is looking to expand their team with a Senior Data Specialist / Architect.

Key Responsibilities of the Data Specialist / Architect:

• Design and maintain business data models aligned with business requirements, data architecture, and governance standards.
• Develop and implement data architecture on Microsoft Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks) while collaborating with architects, analysts, and engineers to meet business data needs.
• Optimize and govern data models, ensuring performance, security, scalability, metadata management, and adherence to best practices in data lifecycle management.

The ideal Data Specialist / Architect will possess the following skillsets:

• 5–8 years in data modeling, data architecture, or related roles with strong understanding of asset management business data, structures, and workflows across front, middle, and back office.
• Skilled in SQL, data entities and relationship design, Erwin (preferred), and Microsoft Azure data services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks); familiar with data governance and quality tools
• Capable of discovering data relationships from sample datasets and applying best practices in data architecture and modeling.
