Data Site Reliability Engineer (HFT, Singapore)

Hyphen is working with a global, top-tier proprietary trading firm to hire a Data Site Reliability Engineer in Singapore.

The role

You will own the reliability of production data pipelines used by trading and research teams.

You will manage data releases, scheduling, backfills, and incidents.

You will work closely with engineers to reduce operational risk through automation, validation, and better system design.

This role sits close to the business and ensures the operational excellence of the data platform powering one of the world's premier market makers.

We're looking for

• 3+ years working hands-on with data in production (ideally data SRE, but Data Engineer is fine)
• 3+ years experience with Python, SQL, ETL and data modelling.
• Confidence owning incidents and troubleshooting end to end
• A strong bias toward automation, standardisation, and reliability
• Exposure to trading / commodities or another accuracy-sensitive environment is a plus
