Job Description

Job Title: Data Security Expert - Data Security & Endpoint Security

Location: Singapore

Team: Data Security Services

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Expert to join our Data Security Services team in Singapore. This role is responsible for managing, administering, and supporting data security and endpoint security technologies for the bank. The expert will act as the technical point of contact for the Run team, handle escalations, and support the technical transition of security services from other regions. This role also involves participation in projects, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the last level of escalation for technical issues within the team.
  • Own incident, problem, and change management for Data Security systems.
  • Assign technical tasks and mentor team members.
  • Approve and manage technical changes to Data Security systems (Run/BAU).
  • Participate in projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Conduct forensic investigations for data leak incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security norms, standards, processes, and regulations.
  • Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and complete all mandatory training.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of IT Security experience, specifically in endpoint and data security administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Symantec Endpoint Protection, Email Prevent, Web Prevent, and Symantec Enforce.
  • Experience with database audit/monitoring solutions (IMPERVA, Guardium).
  • Knowledge of email security solutions and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/Cloud.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and working in a production (Run) environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and mentor others.
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Regular Expressions) - desirable.
  • Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, Symantec Certified Expert (DLP Administration).

Work Schedule:

  • Primarily aligned to EMEA/Paris time zone: 2 PM - 11 PM SGT, with one week on general shift (9 AM - 6 PM SGT).
  • Rotational shifts and occasional support for critical incidents outside office hours.

Skills Matrix:

  • Must-Have: Symantec DLP administration, Symantec Endpoint Protection, prioritization, autonomy, teamwork, adaptability, escalation management.
  • Good-to-Have: Database monitoring, MS Defender suite, email security, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Regex).
